Fashion isn’t crucial for survival but it’s crucial to being a person and having a culture. A tool for storytelling, it’s about the curation of a world and a state of mind. It’s about people taking the time to make things we find precious. It’s about how cute it is that humans want to dress up. It should always be fun.

Market editing is curating. Seeing patterns and noticing things. The way fashion cycles, how shapes and silhouettes are a pendulum, how what’s cool becomes lame becomes cool again. Finding people who do beautiful work and see things differently. Scouring all corners of the earth for a skirt or bra or coat that will tell the story you want it to tell.
